المقدّم (MC) بيربط فقرات الحفلة بعبارات جاهزة: Please welcome..., Let's give a warm round of applause for..., And the winner is..., The award goes to.... ولما يحصل تغيير في آخر لحظة بنقول بهدوء: Due to unforeseen circumstances... أو Please bear with us. وبنستخدم أفعال زي hand over to (يسلّم الكلمة لـ) وwrap up (يختم) وstep up (يتقدم).
